Central School for Tibetan (CST) Mussoorie students have once again brought laurel to the school by excelling in CD presentation of their writeup and models by clearing the preliminary phase in respective categories, as per their innovative ideas and creative writeups, submitted in central level exhibition meet on science held at Dharamshala on was concluded on 15th July.
The event was organized with a view to prepare for 44th JNNSMEE (Jawaharlal Nehru National Science Mathematics and Environment Exhibition) Department of Education (DOE) of Central Tibetan Administration ( C.T.A) with an objective to encourage and stimulate learning environment for students, so as to invoke problem solving skills, scientific temperament and to integrate the knowledge in day to day life among students.
Four students were invited to showcase their talents and exhibits along with innovative presentation out of which consequently, two of them won the coveted first positions in Mathematics and Science by competing in their respective categories which Miss Rinchen Dolma of class XII D emerged as the winner and bagged first position in the subject Mathematics under the theme “ Mathematical solutions for nation building”, while Miss Yangchen Lhamo of class XII B was adjudged the winner in the subject Science under the theme “ Health”. They qualified to take part in 44th JNNSMEE (Jawaharlal Nehru National Science Mathematics and Environment Exhibition) to be held at NCERT , New Delhi in the month of November.
The Principal of the school Anita Narula congratulated the student achievers and the teacher mentors for achieving the enormous feat and bringing glory not only for the school but to entire Mussoorie. The Rector of the School Bhutok Shastri congratulated the student achievers and advised not to stop dreaming and continue to explore new creative avenues to excel in every endeavour. Entire staff congratulated the participated students and their concerned teacher mentors for achieving the outstanding and unprecedented feat. This is the first ever feat achieved by the students of the school.
