Anurag Tripathi, the secretary of Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE)  and former principal of Oak Grove school addressing the students of the school during the ex-principals interaction meet held at the school auditorium recently, said that in order to excel in the field of education it was important to have right kind of approach along with sheer determination, perseverance and discipline. Speaking to the students he emphasis on focusing on all round development instead of bookish Knowledge for excelling in studies. Tripathi said that the objective of the students should be not only to learn from books rather think of ways to contribute to the society. He said that the student knows their target clearly and work passionately to achieve it and it is only then they would succeed.

Tripathi said that the students should work diligently and commit themselves to their studies. He said that the students should commit themselves to studies fully and focus on target set for themselves. He also shared his experience in the school as a principal. he said that he students were looking far more confident as compared to when he arrived at the school to work as as the principal. He said that it was imperative for the educators to change according to the times and need of the students. He said that the change in technology should be adopted sooner than later so that students can achieve higher marks in the exams. He also advised the schools to send the teachers to the training workshops organised by CBSE to upgrade their skills in the larger interest of the students. Tripathi stressed on discipline and said that a disciplined child was bound to achieve success early in comparison to the other students who failed to lead discipline life. He commended the effort of the principal JP Pandey and said that it was heartening to see that the school was on path of success as it was imparting value based education.

He said that it was indeed pleasure to be attached with school that was founded in 188 and had a glorious past. He said that the four students from the school have represented India in Olympics which was feat worth remembering. He said that the first Indian enrolled in the school was in 1946 and later the school was handed over to Indian Railways who are taking care of the administration since. Anurag Tripathi also informed about he changes in the CBSE pattern and reintroduction of the Class Xth Board exams which was scrapped earlier on experimental basis. He said that the abrupt increase in marks in home examination had prompted them to reintroduce the bard examination system once again. He said that the government was working towards bringing qualitative change in education. The CPO construction Northern Railways and former Principal Sunil Mishra speaking on the occasion said that his stint as principal at the school was a memorable and he learned a lot from the experience.JP Pandey welcoming the two principals thanked them for their presence and the lively interaction session with the students . The students presenting several dance items and a mime on Beti Padao, Beti Bachao through a mime performance that was much appreciated by gathered audience. Dr Atul Saxena and others were present on the occasion.
