September 9, New Delhi:

Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Tilak Marapana will meet External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj in New Delhi today.

External affairs ministry said in New Delhi that the issue of Sri Lankan Navy arresting Indian fishermen off Tamil Nadu coast is likely to come up for discussion. Mr Marapana will also call on Prime Minister Narendra Modi today.

 

Mr Marapana arrived in New Delhi yesterday evening on a three-day visit to India. This is the first overseas visit of Mr Marapana after assuming office.
