14 Trains Diverted, Many Cancelled Due to Dense Fog

New Delhi, 22nd Dec. Due to the dense fog that has been falling in the country for the last few days, rail traffic has been severely impacted. Even on Wednesday, dense fog prevails in many parts of the country. Railways had to cancel 273 trains on Wednesday, December 21st, due to fog. Aside from that, many trains were running late from their scheduled times. These include passenger, mail, and express trains.

On Wednesday, 250 trains were completely canceled, according to Indian Railways. And apart from that, 23 trains were partially canceled. Indian Railways rescheduled 27 trains. Apart from that, 14 trains were diverted. Passengers are experiencing numerous issues as a result of the non-operation of a large number of trains.
