24th National Conference on E-Government to be held in Hyderabad

Hyderabad, 7th Jan. On January 7 and 8, 2022, Hyderabad will host the 24th National Conference on e-Government. The Department of Administrative Reforms and Public Grievances (DARPG) of the Government of India, in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) and the Government of Telangana, will host the event.

‘India’s Techade: Digital Governance in a Post-Pandemic World’ is the theme of this year’s conference. Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State (Independent Charge) of the Ministry of Science and Technology and Minister of State in the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, will be the chief guests at the inauguration ceremony.

KT Rama Rao, Telangana’s Minister of Information Technology, will preside over the meeting.

The two-day conference will include talks on Atma Nirbhar Bharat: Universalization of Public Services, Innovation – Platformization, Emerging Technologies, India’s Techade – Digital Economy (Digital Payments – Building Citizen’s Confidence), and more.

On the first day of the conference, national e-Government awards will be presented. The conference aims to serve as a platform for recognising and promoting outstanding e-governance initiatives. Various government departments, ministry dignitaries, and e-governance solution providers will share their perspectives, issues, and solutions to e-governance problems.

The awards and recognition given to the winners encourage those who want to try new things and explore different frameworks for e-governance and digitization in India. Exhibitions, cultural functions, and other related activities will be part of the two-day conference.
