Army Missile Misfires in Pokhran, Rajasthan; Investigation Ordered

Jaisalmer, 25th March. At the Pokhran ranges in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, an Army unit was practising field firing when a missile misfired, according to the report.

The missile exploded while it was in flight, but the debris fell into the nearby fields, according to Indian Army officials.

The Army claimed that neither lives nor property were lost. The matter was the subject of an investigation.

“No damage rendered to any personnel and property. The issue is being investigated,” said Indian Army officials.
