New Delhi, 2nd Nov. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) carried out a raid on Thursday at the properties of Raaj Kumar Anand, a member of the Delhi Cabinet and a prominent figure in the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), according to official sources. This raid is part of an ongoing investigation into allegations of money laundering.
The minister’s premises in the Civil Lines area, along with several other locations, are currently under scrutiny as part of this investigation.
The Enforcement Directorate search teams are being accompanied by a team from the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
Raaj Kumar Anand, aged 57, holds various ministerial portfolios, including social welfare and SC/ST welfare, in the government led by Arvind Kejriwal.
He is also a Member of the Legislative Assembly representing Patel Nagar.
