Ahmedabad, 15th August. Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation, Amit Shah, celebrated Independence Day by hoisting the Tiranga atop his residence in New Delhi. This act was part of the ongoing #HarGharTiranga campaign, launched under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision to see the entire country adorned in the tricolor.

In a statement on ‘X’, Amit Shah expressed his reverence for the freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s independence. He emphasized that the Tiranga represents unity, loyalty, and pride for millions of Indians and will continue to fly high as a symbol of these values.

Shah also shared a selfie with the Tiranga and called upon citizens to participate in this symbolic gesture. He encouraged people to hoist the Tiranga at their homes and upload their selfies on the campaign website, harghartiranga.com, as a tribute to the nation’s unity and democratic spirit.

The #HarGharTiranga campaign aims to engage citizens across the country in a collective celebration of India’s freedom and unity, enhancing the tricolor’s visibility in every corner of the nation.
