Amrit Udyan Exclusively Open for Teachers on Teachers’ Day

New Delhi, 4th Sept. The iconic Amrit Udyan at Rashtrapati Bhavan will be exclusively open for teachers tomorrow, September 5, 2024, in celebration of Teachers’ Day.

Teachers can enter the garden through Gate No. 35, located near North Avenue Road. To facilitate their visit, a free shuttle bus service will be available from Central Secretariat Metro Station to Gate No. 35.

The Amrit Udyan Summer Annuals Edition, 2024, which began on August 16, will continue to welcome the general public until September 15, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with the last entry allowed at 05:15 PM. The garden remains closed on Mondays.

Entry to the garden is free of charge. Visitors can book their slots online via the Rashtrapati Bhavan website or register in person using Self Service Kiosks placed outside Gate No. 35.

So far, over 1.5 lakh visitors have explored Amrit Udyan during this year’s Summer Annuals Edition. As part of the tour, visitors receive a seed paper to promote environmental awareness.
