Bhopal, 21st Sept. In a growing controversy, leaders from the ruling BJP, the Opposition Congress, and religious figures in Madhya Pradesh have condemned the alleged adulteration of laddus served at the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati. This outcry follows Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s claim that animal fat was used in the preparation of the laddus during the tenure of the previous YSRCP government.

Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath expressed his dismay over the reports, calling them “very sad” during a press conference in Chhatarpur after meeting with Dheerendra Shastri, the religious leader and head of Bageshwar Dham. “This is a very sad incident. This should be probed. The facts should be disclosed fully,” Nath stated.

BJP leader and state minister Kailash Vijayvargiya voiced his distress as well, saying, “After I saw the news last night, I could not have my dinner. I hope a thorough investigation will be carried out and strict action taken against those involved.”

Dheerendra Shastri also weighed in, stating that if the allegations are true, it constitutes a significant crime and a “well-planned conspiracy against Sanatanis.” He further called for the death penalty for those responsible.

Manohar Lal Panda, the chief priest of Baglamukhi Mata temple in the Malwa region, strongly condemned the incident, emphasizing that Tirupati is a center of faith for millions. He labeled the alleged adulteration with beef fat and fish oil as a serious issue and demanded stringent action against the culprits.

The situation has ignited widespread calls for accountability and thorough investigations into the claims surrounding the revered laddus of Tirupati.
