New Delhi, 3rd July: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended his best wishes to devotees undertaking the annual Amarnath Yatra and expressed hope that their pilgrimage would be safe and auspicious in every way.
In a message shared on X, Modi described the Amarnath Yatra, associated with the darshan of Baba Barfani, as an eternal chapter in India’s spiritual tradition and cultural unity. He said the annual pilgrimage reflects the country’s rich religious heritage and unites devotees from across the nation.
The Prime Minister also said he has written a special letter to the pilgrims, linking the sacred Yatra with five resolutions. He said the message has been prepared to inspire devotees on the occasion of the annual pilgrimage.
Sharing his message in Hindi, Modi prayed for the well-being of all Shiva devotees and wished that their journey remains peaceful, safe and spiritually fulfilling.
The Amarnath Yatra is among India’s most revered Hindu pilgrimages, drawing thousands of devotees each year to the holy cave shrine in Jammu and Kashmir.
