NEW DELHI, 21st Sept: Vice-President C. P. Radhakrishnan will visit Tamil Nadu on September 21 and attend the Centenary Conference of the UPASI Tea Research Foundation (UPASI TRF) in Coonoor, The Nilgiris, as the Chief Guest.
The Vice-President will participate in the conference marking 100 years of the UPASI Tea Research Foundation, a scientific research institution serving the tea industry in South India.
The foundation traces its origins to October 1926, when it was established as the Tea Experimental Station at Gudalur.
