GG News Bureau

New Delhi, 29th Oct. Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi on Friday made comments about the removal of blockades from the farmers’ movement site in Ghazipur near the Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. Only the ostentatious barriers have been removed, soon all the three anti-agriculture laws will also be removed. He tweeted, ‘Right now only the ostentatious barriers have been removed, soon all the three anti-agriculture laws will also be removed. Annadata Satyagraha Zindabad!

Significantly, Delhi Police on Friday started removing barbed wire and barricades from the site of farmers’ agitation in Ghazipur near Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. Following violence during a ‘tractor parade’ in Delhi on January 26 by farmers protesting three agriculture laws of the Centre, police had put up iron and cement barricades and barbed wire.

The Delhi Police started the work of removing the barricade from the Tikri border on Thursday, which continued late into the night. Let us tell you that 10 months ago, big trolleys and strong dividers were installed by Delhi Police, so that farmers could not come towards Delhi. However, after the removal of the barricade, it is hoped that this road from Delhi to Bahadurgarh can be opened for the general public soon, because a few days ago there had been a comment from the Supreme Court that farmers would be able to use the roads. Can’t keep the protest by jamming.

In this matter, DCP Parminder Singh of Outer District Delhi Police says that there is daily movement of the force, so some things were removed but there is no such thing as opening the way. The police have removed the barricading at the protest site of the farmers’ movement on the Delhi-UP Ghazipur border. The Delhi Police official said that there is an order from the government, so we are opening the way by removing the barricades.
