Significantly, Delhi Police on Friday started removing barbed wire and barricades from the site of farmers’ agitation in Ghazipur near Delhi-Uttar Pradesh border. Following violence during a ‘tractor parade’ in Delhi on January 26 by farmers protesting three agriculture laws of the Centre, police had put up iron and cement barricades and barbed wire.

The Delhi Police started the work of removing the barricade from the Tikri border on Thursday, which continued late into the night. Let us tell you that 10 months ago, big trolleys and strong dividers were installed by Delhi Police, so that farmers could not come towards Delhi. However, after the removal of the barricade, it is hoped that this road from Delhi to Bahadurgarh can be opened for the general public soon, because a few days ago there had been a comment from the Supreme Court that farmers would be able to use the roads. Can’t keep the protest by jamming.
