Bill to Cancel All Three Farm Laws Passed in Lok Sabha

New Delhi, 29th Nov. The Farm Laws Repeal Bill, 2021 has been passed by Lok Sabha amid ruckus by opposition MPs. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar tabled the Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 amid sloganeering by Opposition MPs in Lok Sabha.

Leader of Congress Party in Lok Sabha Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury has demanded discussion on the Bill in the House.

After the ruckus, the proceedings of the Lok Sabha were adjourned till 2 pm. Speaker Om Birla had requested Opposition MPs to bring the House in order.

On the occasion of Prakash Purab, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the country and announced the withdrawal of three farm laws. He said in his address that farm laws were brought for the benefit of farmers but he was unable to explain its benefits to some farmers.

Earlier, under the leadership of Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi, Congress MPs demonstrated in Parliament regarding farm laws. Congress MPs gathered in front of Mahatma Gandhi’s statue in Parliament. They raised slogans against the central government.
