Supreme Court Bail:

In a significant relief related to a money laundering case connected to Delhi’s excise policy, the Supreme Court granted bail to AAP Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh on April 2. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) did not oppose the bail. The Supreme Court stated that no money has been recovered from Sanjay Singh. Additionally, certain conditions have been imposed on Sanjay Singh as part of the bail agreement.

When the Supreme Court asked the Enforcement Directorate if there was a need to keep Sanjay Singh in custody for a longer period, the ED stated that they have no objections. Upon hearing this, Justice Sanjiv Khanna, Dipankar Datta, and P.B. Varale ordered the release of Sanjay Singh, who had been in jail for six months.

Sanjay Singh has been released from jail after six months. He has been granted permission to participate in political rallies after bail, but he will not comment on the Delhi excise policy case.
