New Delhi, 4th April.
Sanjay Singh, an AAP Rajya Sabha MP, targeted the BJP in a speech shortly after being released from Tihar jail on Wednesday. He claimed that the BJP wanted Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal to resign to stop the provision of free water, electricity, and Mohalla clinics in the capital.

Singh, who was granted bail in an alleged excise policy scam by the Supreme Court on Tuesday, also questioned whether the Prime Minister would cooperate with an investigation if police from opposition-ruled states like Bengal, Punjab, and Tamil Nadu came knocking at his door.

He mentioned that Kejriwal, Manish Sisodia, and Satyendar Jain from AAP were imprisoned because they aimed to improve education, healthcare, provide free bus rides, and give money to women in Delhi.

Singh emphasized that AAP is like a family.

Following his release from Tihar jail, the Rajya Sabha MP met with Sunita Kejriwal, the wife of the Delhi Chief Minister, and noted tears in her eyes.

He expressed his intention to also meet with the families of Sisodia and Jain.

Singh urged the people of the country to be cautious of dictators who may bring tears, while Kejriwal would bring smiles by offering good education and healthcare.

In a speech at the AAP office, Singh declared that AAP would not be intimidated by threats from dictators and thanked volunteers and leaders for standing against the BJP’s dictatorship.

He mentioned that the BJP also aimed to arrest other AAP leaders, including Atishi, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Raghav Chadha, and Durgesh Pathak.
Singh thanked AAP volunteers and leaders for resisting the BJP’s dictatorship.

He stated that Kejriwal would not step down from his position as Delhi Chief Minister and would continue to serve the people. Singh claimed that the BJP was not asking for Kejriwal’s resignation, but rather questioning why he was providing free services like electricity, water, bus rides, and Mohalla Clinics.

Singh affirmed that AAP would work with more vigor and the people would respond to Kejriwal’s imprisonment with their votes in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

Kejriwal is currently in judicial custody until April 15 following his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in a money laundering case related to his government’s excise policy.
