New Delhi, 26th Sept. With 4,129 new coronavirus infections reported in a day, India’s Covid case count increased to 4,45,72,243, while active cases decreased to 43,415.
The death toll has risen to 5,28,530, with 20 fatalities, including 13 deaths reconciled by Kerala, according to data updated at 8 a.m.
The active cases account for 0.10 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has risen to 98.72%, according to the health ministry.
In the last 24 hours, the active COVID-19 caseload has decreased by 579 cases.
The daily positivity rate was calculated to be 2.51%. According to the health ministry, the weekly positivity rate was 1.61 percent.
The total number of people who have recovered from the disease has reached 4,40,00,298.
So far, 217.686 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country as part of the nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive, according to the ministry.
