New Delhi, 1st September. With 7,946 new Covid cases in a day, India’s total COVID-19 case count increased to 4,44,36,339, while active cases decreased to 62,748.
The death toll has risen to 5,27,911 with 37 fatalities, including 12 deaths reconciled by Kerala, according to data updated at 8 a.m.
According to the ministry, active cases account for 0.14 percent of total infections, while the national COVID-19 recovery rate has increased to 98.67 percent.
