Amit Shah Assures Full Support as NDRF Teams Deployed for Tripura Flood Relief

New Delhi, 22nd August. Union Home Minister Amit Shah speaks with Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha to review the ongoing flood crisis in the state.

In a statement posted on the X platform, Shah said that the Modi government is committed to supporting Tripura during this challenging period.

Shah confirmed that the Centre is mobilizing National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams, along with boats and helicopters, to aid in the state’s relief and rescue operations. He assured that the central government will provide all necessary assistance as needed.

“The Modi government firmly stands with our sisters and brothers in Tripura during this hour of crisis,” Shah stated, underscoring the Centre’s commitment to addressing the situation and supporting the local government’s efforts.
