Amit Shah Inaugurates the Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan Starts in Varanasi

Varanasi, 13th Nov. Union Home Minister Amit Shah today inaugurated the Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. Addressing the program in Varanasi, Shah said that he “loves” Hindi language more than Gujarati.

Addressing the Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan in Varanasi on the second day of his visit to the city, Shah said, “I love Hindi language more than Gujarati. We need to strengthen our Rajbhasha.”

He added, “Gandhiji converted the freedom movement into a people’s movement; it had three pillars – Swaraj, Swadeshi and Swabhasha. Swaraj was achieved, but Swadeshi and Swabhasha were left behind. There is no conflict between Hindi and all our local languages”.

While addressing ‘Akhil Bharatiya Rajbhasha Sammelan’ in Varanasi, Shah advises parents to talk to their children in their mother tongue. He asserted that there is nothing to be shy about, our mother language is our pride.”

Prior to his address, Amit Shah released a Hindi magazine at first Akhil Bhartiya Rajbhasha Sammelan at Deendayal hastkala sankul in Varanasi.

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath, Minister of State for Home Ajay Kumar Mishra, Nityanand Rai, Nishit Pramanik are also present in the conference. Besides, former Governor Keshari Nath Tripathi, Assembly Speaker Uday Narayan Dixit, Vice Chancellor Professor Rammohan Pathak were present during the occasion.
