 Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah conveyed his heartfelt condolences over the demise of the revered saint, Param Pujya Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, describing it as an irreparable loss for the nation and society, and a personal bereavement for himself.

In a statement shared on X, Amit Shah expressed profound sorrow, stating that the demise of such a distinguished figure like Param Pujya Acharya Shri 108 Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj is an immense loss for the country and society. The Union Home Minister recounted feeling privileged for the opportunity to be in the presence of such a venerable soul, receiving his warmth, affection, and blessings. He lamented that the passing of Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, a devout servant of humanity, is deeply personal to him. Shah praised Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj for his unwavering commitment to the betterment of humanity and every individual.

Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, renowned as a sage, yogi, thinker, philosopher, and social worker, left an indelible mark on society. Shah noted that although he appeared modest and gentle externally, Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj possessed immense inner strength and conviction.
