The Union Home Minister recounted feeling privileged for the opportunity to be in the presence of such a venerable soul, receiving his warmth, affection, and blessings. He lamented that the passing of Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, a devout servant of humanity, is deeply personal to him. Shah praised Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj for his unwavering commitment to the betterment of humanity and every individual.

Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj, renowned as a sage, yogi, thinker, philosopher, and social worker, left an indelible mark on society. Shah noted that although he appeared modest and gentle externally, Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj possessed immense inner strength and conviction.

Through his tireless efforts in education, healthcare, and the upliftment of the underprivileged, Acharya Vidyasagar Ji Maharaj exemplified how service to humanity and preservation of culture could go hand in hand.
