New Delhi, 10th April.
In yet another twist to the Delhi liquor policy scandal, another leader of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) seems to be entangled. The name of AAP’s senior leader Durgesh Pathak has surfaced in this case.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has summoned Durgesh Pathak for questioning and has asked him to appear at the ED office.

Following Manish Sisodia, Sanjay Singh, and Arvind Kejriwal, Durgesh Pathak is now also under the ED’s scrutiny. His name has emerged in connection with the liquor policy scam, along with Arvind Kejriwal’s private secretary Bibhav Kumar.

Investigations at the ED headquarters are underway with Bibhav Kumar, Kejriwal’s private secretary. Now, Durgesh Pathak has been summoned for questioning.

The ED has seized Durgesh Pathak’s phone. He has been asked to appear at the ED office today at 2 p.m. It is reported that Durgesh Pathak was present with Vijay Nayar during the raid conducted by the ED at his premises in September 2022.

Durgesh Pathak, a senior leader of AAP, was in charge of the party’s campaign in the Goa elections. Currently, he is an MLA from Rajinder Nagar in Delhi. After Bibhav Kumar, the ED wants to question Durgesh Pathak. He is an old leader of the party and has been associated with AAP from the beginning.

Earlier Concerns Raised by Atishi about Pathak’s Arrest

It’s worth mentioning that in the same liquor policy scam case, the ED arrested Delhi’s Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on March 21st. AAP leader and Delhi’s Minister Atishi had expressed concerns about Durgesh Pathak’s possible arrest earlier. Atishi had also expressed concerns about her own arrest. She had said that Saurabh Bhardwaj, Durgesh Pathak, and Raghav Chadha could also be arrested.
