New Delhi, 30th April. AAP chief and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Friday called on TMC supremo and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Delhi.
The meeting was held at Trinamool Congress MP and Mamata Banerjee’s nephew Abhishek Banerjee’s official residence in New Delhi.
TMC and AAP were recently engaged in an extreme electoral battle in Goa Assembly elections held early this year.
TMC was unable to get any seat but APP bagged two seats — Benaulim and Velim.
Mamata Banerjee is in the national capital to attend the Justice Conclave programme on Saturday where Chief Ministers of other states are scheduled to be present at the event.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the joint conference of Chief Ministers and Chief Justices of High Courts at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi on Saturday.
