Arvind Kejriwal proclaims Nobel Prize for managing state government in spite of all obstacles put by BJP

New Delhi, 25th Feb. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi, stated he ought to receive a Nobel Prize for managing the state government in spite of all the obstacles the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) put in his way during a Sunday public rally in the nation’s capital.

“They (the BJP) attempted to halt hospital and school construction in Delhi. They oppose the impoverished receiving the same quality of education as their offspring. To me, your love is more valuable than any Nobel Prize because only I know how to run the government in Delhi.” The national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party stated.

“I.N.D.I.All seven Delhi seats will go to a bloc. While the BJP is busy destroying Delhi and making Delhiites miserable, we work for the advancement and development of Delhiites. He pointed at the saffron party, saying, “The one who gives relief is greater than the one who kills.”

“Since Corona, the water bills of 11 lakh Delhi households have gone up. For some, the bills totaled between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 1 lakh, but the water supply remained. People’s water connections would have been cut off if the BJP had been in power. However, no one can dare break your bond while your son is still alive,” he continued.

According to Kejriwal, AAP will exert every effort to carry out the one-time settlement plan.

On Saturday, Kejriwal met with families in Govindpuri, southeast Delhi, who said they received inflated water bills. He gave them his word that the matter would be resolved as soon as possible. Speaking with the families, Kejriwal announced that his administration will soon introduce a plan for the one-time payment of water bills.

“We are investigating the matter of excessive water bills and intend to address it by introducing a one-time settlement plan as soon as possible. Due to obstacles the BJP has been putting in our way, the policy was delayed. Kejriwal addressed the Govindpuri people, many of whom had gathered in the streets holding their water bills, saying, “But we are working on bringing this scheme at the earliest.”

He declared that the AAP would exert every effort to carry out the plan. Bills totaling lakhs of rupees have been sent to even the smallest of homes. Units were not recorded in person during the COVID-19 pandemic, which is where this issue first arose.

Twelve lakh families have been hit with inflated bills. Their bills will be settled quickly, and those under Rs 20,000 will be forgiven. The BJP is stopping the plan, but we’ll do everything in our power to see it through to completion, even if it means going on a hunger strike,” he declared.

Atishi, the Minister of Delhi Water, was with Kejriwal. To discuss the one-time settlement plan, the Chief Minister convened an all-party meeting on Thursday. Copies of the “inflated” water bills were torn and thrown by the AAP MLAs inside the House, and later, they were set ablaze next to the Gandhi statue in the assembly complex.

While the Delhi Jal Board has connected 27 lakh people to water, almost 10.5 lakh customers have refused to pay their bills, citing exorbitant charges.
