New Delhi, 11th May.  Asaduddin Owaisi, the leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), likens the situation of Muslims in Bharat to that of Jews in Germany under Adolf Hitler’s dictatorship.

Speaking about Muslims in modern-day Bharat, Owaisi compares their predicament to that of Jews in the 1930s, during the Hitler era. This process began with the creation of hate speeches and videos, and ended with the gas chamber.  In addition, Hitler once claimed that Jews were not native Germans. And in Bharat, Muslims are accused of being election-winning infiltrators.

In actuality, a number of Congress and Indi alliance officials are cornering the Bharatiya Janata Party’s central government over the advancement of Muslims, just like Asaduddin Owaisi did with his hate speech. To all of them, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is a criminal. But is it really the case?

The fact is the reverse, if observed. Statistics on development, particularly for Muslims, indicate that the Modi period in Bharat has made it possible for them to develop in every manner, which has never been the case previously. The Modi government launched various programmes worth Rs 22,000 crore for this society in the first five years. By passing a law, the government outlawed triple talaq. Two lakhs more Haj quotas are now available.

Subsequently, a flurry of new initiatives and projects in support of Muslims have been witnessed being carried out one after another by the Modi administration. In terms of population counts, Muslims have benefited the most from all of the Central Government’s programs, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, Saubhagya Yojana, Ustad Yojana, and Mudra Yojana.

The government has offered Muslim pupils free tutoring to help them prepare for competitive exams under the Udaan program. Muslims who are studying at home for competitive exams would receive Rs 1500 under this initiative, while students studying overseas will receive Rs 3000.

The Shaadi Shagun Yojana aims to provide Muslim ladies who have completed their graduation with a marriage shagun of Rs 51,000. Comparably, the Ustad program aims to train Muslim artisans in order to elevate them to the level of specialists. In order to hone Muslim traditional arts and handicrafts, work is being done to train artisans under the skill development initiative.

The Learn and Earn Scheme is another program that is visible from this vantage point. This program was launched by the Modi administration with the intention of giving Muslim youth jobs. In addition to teaching Muslim youth under the Skill Development Scheme and pushing them toward self-employment, it is required to employ seventy-five percent of the taught youth. Although the Modi government is working to provide five crore Muslim students with “Prime Minister Scholarships” through the Edhi scheme, nobody discusses it. The unique aspect of this program is that Muslim female students make up half of its beneficiaries. The program’s goal is to improve Muslims’ educational attainment.

The government has offered Muslim pupils free tutoring to help them prepare for competitive exams under the Udaan program. Muslims who are studying at home for competitive exams would receive Rs 1500 under this initiative, while students studying overseas will receive Rs 3000.

Since taking office in 2014, the Modi government has boosted funding for minorities’ welfare. Only under the Modi administration would Muslim women who have been subjected to triple talaq be able to obtain equal rights through legislative action. In addition, Prime Minister Modi asked Saudi Arabia to lower the tax on the Haj from 18% to 5% in addition to increasing the quota for Muslims. Under the direction of the Narendra Modi administration, the digitization of over six lakh Waqf boards’ and Waqf properties’ records has been finished. In a similar vein, a plethora of additional Modi era individuals pertinent to Muslim development are also accessible. One lakh words are less if you write about it here.

It appears that the Prime Minister’s 15-point plan for the Central Government’s assistance with Muslim welfare must also be included in this context. Included in this are the following: adequate access to integrated child development services; better school accessibility; increased resources for teaching Urdu; modernization of madrassa education; scholarships for deserving minority students; improved educational infrastructure through Maulana Azad Education Foundation; poor people’s self-employment and wage employment programs; improved skill development through technical education; increased credit assistance for economic activities; hiring in state and central services; equitable participation in rural housing schemes; and the state of the slums where minority communities reside. The focus has shifted to reforms, preventing communal occurrences, prosecuting communal crimes, and rehabilitating victims of communal disturbances.

In a recent media interview, Prime Minister Modi was asked about the future of the Muslim minority in Bharat. In response, the Prime Minister provided a detailed explanation of the “religious micro minority living in Bharat.”India has provided a safe haven for the Muslim minority, notwithstanding their persecution in other parts of the world. They are prospering and leading happy lives.

In actuality, Prime Minister Modi is stating that a large number of academics and social workers, such as political analyst Amana Begum Ansari and specialist in Islamic issues Dr. Faiyaz Ahmed Faizi, firmly believe that this is a fact. That Muslim voters’ misgivings about the BJP persist.

However, Muslims have seen that they are receiving the same benefits from Central Government projects as Hindus or any other group in society throughout the previous ten years of Prime Minister Modi’s administration. Instead, because of the extreme poverty that exists in many areas, Muslims are receiving greater assistance from Central Government programs. In such a scenario, they no longer fear that Modi will face prejudice of any kind following his ascent to power. It is easy to blame the BJP for a lot of other things, but aside from this administration, nobody has demonstrated a desire to change personal laws. The community as a whole is growing quickly.

In such a scenario, it would be preferable if Asaduddin Owaisi and the Indi alliance leaders would not lie to the nation or subject the Muslims residing in Bharat to cruel comparisons with Hitler’s Nazi regime. In actuality, under Modi’s leadership, Bharat’s total development is evident in the current state of affairs.
