Guwahati, 21st June. In preparation for the upcoming Ambubachi festival, Assam Police and the administration are on high alert. The Guwahati Metropolitan Police are placing significant emphasis on ensuring the safety of devotees.
Additionally, the district administration is making all necessary arrangements to facilitate the convenience of the devotees. On Saturday, Director General of Police (DGP) G.P. Singh made several remarks regarding the preparations. He stated that every year, extensive measures are taken for the Ambubachi Mela. Security arrangements are divided into three to four segments. The first focus is on the security of the temple.
Secondly, measures are in place to ensure that the large gathering of people does not face any inconvenience. DGP Singh informed that several meetings with various officials have already been held in this regard.
Overall, special attention is being given by the police and administration to ensure that no one faces any difficulties.
