Bihar visit

At an electoral event on Saturday in Darbhanga, north Bihar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was spotted having a good time with his fans.

When the Prime Minister reached Darbhanga, the capital of the former princely state of Mithila, he was given a garland made of fox nuts (makhana), which are abundant in the region. Additionally, he was spotted with the traditional “Mithila paag,” a headpiece bearing a large print of the lotus, the BJP’s election symbol.

He also spoke to the assembly in Maithili, enrapturing the audience. When the Prime Minister spoke to a supporter who was seen carrying a mannequin that was modeled after him, the audience was left stunned.

The man was waving it angrily to attract attention when the Prime Minister said, “Aapne Modi ko bahut nacha liya (You have made Modi dance a lot)”.

He then gave the SPG the figure.

A supporter of the “Vishwakarma yojana” was also seen by Modi feverishly waving a poster of the craftsman deity. “Your eagerness has captivated me, my darling ‘bhakt’ (devotee) of Lord Vishwakarma. Please take a seat now. Modi remarked, “You might be obstructing the view for those seated behind.”
