New Delhi, 13th April. Bansuri Swaraj, BJP’s candidate for the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat and daughter of the late Union Minister Sushma Swaraj, has addressed concerns about dynasty politics, emphasizing her own journey and the values instilled by her family.

In an exclusive interaction with PTI editors, Bansuri Swaraj reflected on her upbringing and the profound influence of her mother, sharing anecdotes that shed light on her personal and political ethos.

Expressing reverence for the values of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), Bansuri Swaraj asserted that her political journey was shaped by her own dedication and affiliation, with a tenure of 24 years in the Sangh. She highlighted her initiation into politics through grassroots work with the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and her subsequent service as a lawyer within the BJP.

She emphasized that while she draws inspiration from her mother, she aims to carve her own niche rather than imitate her.
