Raipur, 20th Oct. Union Minister and BJP leader Anurag Singh Thakur on Friday interacted directly with the people of Chhattisgarh, especially the tribal society, through a massive public meeting in the poll-bound state of Chhattisgarh.
Thakur was on a visit to Chhattisgarh to attend the nomination of former Minister Shri Mahesh Gagda ji and a huge public meeting in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh.
Addressing the public meeting, Thakur said, “Honorable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji has done unprecedented work for the honor of tribals across the country, especially in Chhattisgarh, protecting water, forest and land as well as security, respect and inclusive development of tribal brothers and sisters.”
He said, “The main reason for the election atmosphere that has been created in favor of BJP in Chhattisgarh is that Prime Minister Modi ji gave assistance from the Center for the development of Chhattisgarh. One project after another. More than Rs 1 lakh crore was made available for paddy purchase.”
Meanwhile, Thakur stated that the people are suffering under the Bhupesh government. The state government is focused on politics of appeasement, which is causing further problems. Chhattisgarh is the most corrupt government in the country. ATM has been made for the leader of Delhi. If land tax i.e. all time money goes to Congress, it is from the corruption of Chhattisgarh. Be it mining mafia, liquor mafia, transfer mafia. This is a mafia government.”
Anurag Thakur said, “The government of respected Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee ji worked to make Chhattisgarh state and the BJP government of Chhattisgarh worked to make it prosperous. The Modi government has fulfilled the long-standing demand of 12 communities by bringing them under the ST category. On the birth anniversary of Bhagwan Birsa Munda ji, we have done the work of celebrating Tribal Pride Day and Narendra Modi ji has done the work of immortalizing him forever.
Analysing the budget for tribal welfare during the UPA regime at the Centre and the BJP government, Thakur said, “During the 10 years of Congress government at the Centre, the Congress gave only Rs 29,000 crore in the tribal ministry, which Modi ji increased to Rs 1,32,000 crore after becoming the Prime Minister.Crores of rupees have been made. This is a testimony to the Prime Minister’s special affection towards our tribal brothers and sisters.
Stating that BJP’s victory in the upcoming assembly elections is certain, Thakur said, “The people of Chhattisgarh have made up their mind to remove the corrupt and failed Bhupesh Government. The people of Chhattisgarh will once again vote for the BJP’s double engine government with an absolute majority. “
Union Minister Thakur while talking to reporters at the airport after reaching Raipur on Friday accused the Congress government of doing politics of appeasement and said that the Congress government in the state is suffering from the petty mentality of appeasement and the people of Chhattisgarh are suffering from the communal appeasement of the Bhupesh Government.
Thakur bluntly said that if we talk about the most corrupt government in the country, then it is the Congress government in Chhattisgarh. This ‘khau’ government has become an ATM (all-time money) for its ‘family’ leaders of Delhi.
In Chhattisgarh, it is said that do ‘bhu-pay’. This ‘bhu-pay’ clearly means that the Congress treasury is being filled with the money of corruption being done in Chhattisgarh; Be it mining mafia or liquor mafia, transfer mafia, sand mafia. Now the people of Chhattisgarh want to get rid of the government of these mafias.
