Hyderabad, 10th May.
After causing a stir with her response to a comment made by AIMIM’s Akbaruddin Owaisi, BJP MP Navneet Rana has found herself in hot water again during a heated election season, resulting in a police case being filed against her.

While urging people not to vote for the Congress at an election campaign in Telangana’s Shadnagar, Rana was heard saying, “If you vote for Congress, that vote goes directly to Pakistan.”

The police case against the Amaravati candidate alleges that she tried to influence voters improperly and disobeyed an order from a public servant.

Earlier in the week, she caused controversy while campaigning for her party colleague Madhavi Latha in Hyderabad by responding to Akbaruddin Owaisi’s infamous statement about removing police for 15 minutes.

Referring to Owaisi’s comment, she said, “It might take you 15 minutes, but it will only take us 15 seconds.” She also mentioned during the Hyderabad campaign that votes for AIMIM and Congress were going directly to Pakistan.

She criticized the relationship between AIMIM, Congress, and Pakistan, suggesting that Congress and AIMIM were being controlled by Pakistan. She claimed that Madhavi Latha would prevent Hyderabad from becoming like Pakistan.
