New Delhi, 7th April.
On Sunday, BJP politician Gourav Vallabh made a jab at the Congress by claiming that the platform of his previous party has been drafted by the same individual for the past thirty years, who hasn’t even “contested the election of a class monitor.”

“He used to be a spokesperson for the party on TV when I was a college student. He is still in charge of communications (on behalf of the party). He works as a PA. Gourav Vallabh informed the news agency, “PAs of former Union Ministers who have never contested the election of a class monitor are running Congress.”
Jairam Ramesh, the General Secretary of the Congress who oversees communications, seemed to be targeted by Gourav Vallabh, who just defected to the BJP.

Gourav Vallabh stated that the Congress would not have decreased to just 52 seats in the Lok Sabha if Jairam Ramesh’s ideas in the platform had substance and validity.

Increasing the intensity of his criticism, Gourav Vallabh declared that the Congress leader in issue “only cares about protecting his Rajya Sabha seat” and has no ideology or loyalty to the party.

“This individual, who is supposedly Jairam Ramesh, hasn’t even run for a school class monitor position…The BJP leader remarked, “He just calls up a few journalists and gets copies published.”

Furthermore, Gourav Vallabh made fun of several of the Congress candidates running in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections by saying they were unaware that “Uttar Pradesh and Bihar are different states.” “They will get confused this is the level of their knowledge,” he stated.

The leader of the BJP stated that he joined the Congress party believing that it would embrace the aspirational ideas of new leaders. Still, he claimed that Congress viewed such novel concepts as a “hurdle”.

According to Gourav Vallabh, Congress was unable to comprehend the problems that both its employees and the electorate were facing. In addition, he claimed that his previous party was unable to align itself with the goals and objectives of the “new India.”

The BJP leader reiterated his position that he cannot talk against Sanatana Dharma or oppose “wealth creators,” adding that he cannot be on the same footing as “sinners” who chose not to attend the Ram temple commemoration celebration in Ayodhya.

Notably, the Congress refused to go to the Ram Mandir’s “Pran Pratishtha” ceremony on January 22, citing the BJP’s designation of it as a “political event.”

On April 4, Gourav Vallabh joined the BJP.
Gourav Vallabh left the Congress citing the caste census and calling the party “directionless” in a letter to Mallikarjun Kharge, the head of the party. Additionally, he declared that he could not slander those who create money “morning to evening” or shout “anti-Sanatana” chants.

“I find it uncomfortable that the Congress party is currently heading in the wrong direction. I am unable to curse the nation’s wealth creators or yell anti-Sanatana slogans. He said on X, “I am leaving my primary membership in the Congress party as well as all of my posts.

A number of Congress heavyweights, including Gourav Vallabh, left the party a few weeks before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
