Chinese Foreign Minister Demands to End Economic Sanctions on Afghanistan

GG News Bureau

Beijing, 23rd Sep. Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has raised the voice of the Taliban, and said that the world should lift the unilateral economic sanctions on Afghanistan as soon as possible.

He said that Afghanistan’s foreign exchange reserves are a national asset that should be entitled to the citizens of that country and used by their own people. There must not be any bargaining to put political pressure on Afghanistan. He said that the rights of the citizens of Afghanistan should not be taken away from them.

If political experts are to be believed then China is doing all this for its own benefit. It has found another better place to increase its strength in the form of Afghanistan. China’s strategy for Afghanistan works on three issues mainly. The first is its strategic and commercial advantage, the second is India’s loss and the third is America. In the current situation, Afghanistan is meeting all the mentioned points.

Pakistan and China along with Russia, are trying hard to get the Taliban recognized. They are also trying to create a new group of countries adjacent to Afghanistan. This group includes China, Pakistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

In this matter, India has clearly said that the Taliban should stay on its commitment of not to allow the use of Afghanistan’s land for terrorism in any way.
