Chandigarh, 27th Sept. Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann moved a confidence motion in the state assembly on Tuesday.
After days of wrangling between the Raj Bhavan and the AAP government over holding a session of the Assembly, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit gave his approval on Sunday to convene the House on September 27.
The CM moved the motion of confidence, but two BJP MLAs, Ashwani Sharma and Jangi Lal Mahajan, had earlier walked out of the House after Speaker Kultar Singh Sandhwan announced Mann would move the motion of confidence.
