Congress Announces More Candidates for Lok Sabha Polls; Manish Tewari to Contest from Chandigarh

 The Congress party has released a list of 16 additional candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, further intensifying its campaign across various constituencies.

Among the prominent names announced is former Union minister Manish Tewari, who will be contesting from the Chandigarh parliamentary constituency.

In a strategic move, the party has also nominated Himachal Pradesh Minister Vikramaditya Singh to go head-to-head against BJP candidate and Bollywood actor Kangana Ranaut in the Mandi Lok Sabha seat.

Vikramaditya Singh, the son of the Congress’ Himachal Pradesh unit chief Pratibha Singh, brings both political lineage and fresh energy to the electoral battle.

The announcement of these candidates came during a crucial meeting of the party’s Central Election Committee, held on Saturday evening. With these latest nominations, the Congress aims to bolster its presence and offer strong contenders across key constituencies in the upcoming polls.
