Congress gives Adjournment Motion to Discuss Lakhimpur Kheri Incident

New Delhi, 3rd Dec. Congress MP Manickam Tagore on Friday moved an adjournment motion in the Lok Sabha to discuss the killing of farmers in Lakhimpur Kheri and demanded the dismissal of Minister of State for Home Ajay Mishra Teni.
As many as eight people including four farmers had died in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence that took place on October 3. Uttar Pradesh police have so far arrested three people including the son of Union Minister of State Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra
Following the direction of the Supreme Court, a new Special Investigation Team (SIT) was constituted to probe Lakhimpur Kheri, which has now started investigating.
