New Delhi, 16th Oct. Congress has released a list of 39 candidates for the upcoming Mizoram Assembly polls. Lalsawta, the party’s state unit chief, will be contesting from Aizawl West-III.
The announcement of the candidates’ names coincided with Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Aizawl, where he will campaign for the party’s candidates in the November 7 elections.

Other notable candidates include Lalnunmawia Chuaungo from Aizawl North-I, Lalrindika Ralte from Hachhek, Lalhmingthanga Sailo from Dampa, and Lalrinmawia from Aizawl North-II.
The Mizoram assembly elections will be held on November 7, with vote counting scheduled for December 3.
