Delhi BJP Activists Protest Near Bihar Bhawan, Calls for CM Nitish Kumar’s Resignation Over His Remarks on Women

New Delhi, 8th Nov. Delhi BJP activists held a protest near Bihar Bhawan in Chanakyapuri on Wednesday, demanding the resignation of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for his comments on women.

The protesters, including women leaders and workers from Delhi BJP’s Mahila Morcha, criticized the chief minister and called for him to step down due to his “vulgar” remarks.

Delhi BJP president Virendra Sachdeva led the demonstration and stated that Kumar’s remarks were unforgivable. The Delhi BJP workers will continue their protest until Kumar resigns from his position.

On Wednesday, the chief minister apologized both inside and outside the Bihar Assembly for his comments made the previous day.

The assembly was adjourned until 2 pm as the opposition BJP demanded Kumar’s resignation.

Kumar explained that his remarks were in the context of women’s education and its relationship to fertility rate. He emphasized his support for women’s education and stated that he regretted any offense caused by his comments.
