DU Releases Academic Calendar for 2022-23

New Delhi, 29^th June. The Delhi University (DU) has announced that the fifth and seventh semesters of graduate courses will start on July 20 for the academic year 2022-23.

The university has published an academic calendar for the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth semesters. Classes for the sixth and eighth semesters are set to begin on January 2, 2023.

The theory exams for students in the fifth and seventh semesters will begin on November 30, according to a notification issued on June 22, and the preparation leave will begin on November 16.

On May 11, exams for the students in the sixth and seventh semesters will start. The winter break will be from December 17 to December 31, and the summer break will be from May 27, 2023 to July 19, 2023, according to the notification.

After being closed for two years, the DU reopened for in-person classes on February 17.

Following the outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic, the university was closed in March 2020.

In-person practical sessions for third-year students had resumed last year, but the university was closed again in December due to an increase in the number of Covid cases.
