Due to MLA Neeraj Sharma’s Diligence, Ballabgarh Sohna Toll Road Construction Begins

Faridabad, 25th June. The Ballabhgarh Sohna toll road construction has begun today. In this regard, NIT MLA Neeraj Sharma stated that despite charging a toll on this road, the facility was not provided, and the people were forced to face heavy traffic jam.

MLA Neeraj Sharma was constantly struggling for the construction of this road. The above-mentioned road is in disrepair, which is why NIT MLA Neeraj Sharma has been fighting for its construction for a long time. During the Assembly session, unstarred Question 186 was also asked regarding the above matter, which was admitted by the Deputy Chief Minister himself that the road needs to be repaired.

MLA Neeraj Sharma stated that despite paying the toll, people face significant difficulties in commuting and get stuck in traffic for several hours.

On October 11, 2021, a meeting of the Faridabad Grievances Committee was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Chief Minister, during which a family hearing was held regarding the dilapidated condition of the Ballabhgarh Sohna toll road.

During the hearing, the Commissioner Municipal Corporation, Faridabad, and the Municipal Corporation, Faridabad were given orders to provide funds for the construction of the said road.

For this work, orders were given to the Public Works Department, Gurugram, that after completing the tender within the time limit specified, the road construction work should begin by the end of the month. In addition, the matter will be resolved through a coordination meeting with the Public Works Department Gurugram, the Deputy Commissioner of Faridabad, and the Commissioner of the Municipal Corporation of Faridabad.

The reliance was ordered to obtain official permission from the government within 15 days for the work of draining the water from the said road.

MLA Neeraj Sharma was unable to attend the Grievance Committee meeting on January 21, 2022 due to corona infection, but he informed the Deputy Chief Minister via letter that no work had been completed after about 3 months. Despite paying the toll, the public is stuck in traffic for hours.

MLA Neeraj Sharma requested that the Deputy Chief Minister either begin the work immediately or prohibit the toll company from collecting tolls until the work is completed.

Following that, the Deputy Chief Minister issued orders to build the road as soon as possible while directing officials to seek permission. The road’s construction permit was granted on January 24.
