GG News Bureau

Chandigarh, 13th Nov. Satya Pal Jain, Ex-BJP MP has said that the dynastic rule and arrogance are anti-poor and anti-workers, hence Leaders should shun it, as it has no place in any civilized democratic society.

He said political leaders should learn from the labourers by shunning arrogance and adopting humility in public life. He said that family rule, first father, then son, then his son or daughter, “Jija”, “Sali” “grandchildren” etc. ruling the public is totally unacceptable in any party or polity and it deserves to be rightly rejected. In a democratic society, every common man should be entitled to hold high office and not those who claim it only because of their parents, forefathers or relatives.

Mr Jain was addressing a gathering of workers at Labour Chowk, Sector 44-45, Chandigarh, as Chief Guest in a function organised by the Construction Workers Labour Union in connection with Lord Vishwakarma Puja Celebrations and the Majdoor Day, today morning. Thousands of workers from different parts of Chandigarh attended the rally.

Mr. Jain said that Lord Vishwakarma was the symbol of Development and Construction in society and lakhs and lakhs of workers, and Majdoors have positively contributed to the Development of the society.

He said that a true follower of Lord Vishwakarma can never be arrogant and it is high time that political leaders of the country learn the lesson from the poor workers of shunning arrogance and adopting the behaviour of humility in the society. Mr Jain said that arrogance never pays in life and ultimately results in the downfall of the concerned persons.

Jain said that a poor worker, and a poor man, is always humble, whatever the economic conditions and under whatever hard economic conditions he may be living. He said that all attempts should be made to see that the benefit of economic prosperity reaches the poor workers also.
