EAM Dr S Jaishankar Launches “Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery” Book in Auckland

Auckland, 7th Oct. External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr. S. Jaishankar attended the Kiwi Indian Hall of Fame Awards 2022 and launched the book “Modi@20: Dreams Meet Delivery” in Auckland on Thursday. New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern was also present during the event.
The event honored members of New Zealand’s Indian community for their outstanding achievements and contributions.
Dr. Jaishankar began his official engagements today with a traditional Maori welcome. He appreciated the symbolism of two energies coming together.
The Minister stated in a tweet that respect for customs and traditions is an important aspect of India-New Zealand friendship.
He also met with New Zealand’s Opposition Leader, Christopher Luxon.
Dr. Jaishankar stated that the India-New Zealand relationship will progress with broad support and mutual efforts.
