EAM S Jaishankar to Attend 9th India-Thailand Joint Commission Meeting in Bangkok Today

Bangkok, 17th August. The 9th India-Thailand Joint Commission Meeting will be held today in Bangkok.
S Jaishankar, the External Affairs Minister, arrived in Thailand yesterday to attend the meeting. Both countries are commemorating the 75 years of establishment of diplomatic relations.
Dr. Jaishankar stated in a tweet that he began his visit to Thailand by meeting with members of the Indian community.

He shared New India’s achievements and aspirations with them and welcomed their eagerness to contribute to India’s progress.
He also expressed gratitude to the India-Thai Chamber of Commerce (ITCC) for organising the event.
The 8th Joint Commission Meeting (JCM) was held in New Delhi on October 10, 2019.
