Earthquake of 5.7 Magnitude Strikes Arunachal’s West Siang District

Itanagar, 10th Nov. According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of magnitude 5.7 struck Arunachal Pradesh’s West Siang district on Thursday, November 10, 2022. The quake struck the area at 10.31 a.m. at a depth of 10 km, according to the report.

Nima Dorjee, the District Disaster Management Officer (DDMO) for West Siang, said that no property damage or deaths were reported immediately.

The tremors were felt throughout the state, according to District Information and Public Relations Officer D Angu.
