East Godavari: The Jana Sena Party has Lost a Single ZPTC Member

East Godavari, 6th Oct. Margani Ammani, a local leader of the Jana Sena Party, has resigned as a member of the Kadiyam ZPTC. On Monday, she handed in her resignation letter to Collector C. Harikiran. Her husband, Yedukondalu, informed the reporters that she ran for the Kadiyapulanka Sarpanch position last year and won.

However, the elections have been postponed. She also ran for and won the ZPTC position in the recent elections. He stated that she had resigned from her ZPTC job in order to remain as the Sarpanch as promised to the locals.

The Jana Sena Party lost the district’s single ZPTC seat as a result of this.

The YSRCP won 505 seats in the MPTC ZPTC elections, which were held for 515 ZPTCs. The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) came in second with only six seats, followed by the CPI-M and independents, who each got one seat, and Pawan Kalyan’s Jana Sena, which won two seats. With her departure, the number has now gone down to one.
