Jaipur, 26th Oct. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) conducted raids on Thursday at the premises of Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra and Omprakash Hudla, the party candidate from the Mahua assembly seat.

This action is part of an investigation into alleged money laundering related to the leak of exam papers in the state.

Dotasra, who was previously the Minister for School Education, has properties in Sikar and Jaipur that were searched, along with the residence of Omprakash Hudla, the party candidate from the Mahua seat in Dausa.

The ED has also arrested Babulal Katara, a former member of the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), and Anil Kumar Meena in connection with this case.

The investigation began in June and is linked to the upcoming elections for the 200-member Rajasthan Assembly, scheduled for November 25.

Dotasra is running as the Congress candidate from the Lachhmangarh seat in Sikar, competing against Subhash Maharia from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

Dotasra is currently the sitting MLA from this constituency.
