Patna, 14th September. The BJP slammed Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Wednesday for incidents of crime and controversial comments made by state ministers, saying he should now drop his “pretension” of being “sushashan babu.”

BJP leader Ravi Shankar Prasad condemned the random shooting spree in Begusarai on Tuesday, which killed one person and injured several others, as well as the state agriculture minister’s remark that his department was full of “thieves” and he was their “sardar” (leader).

Fear has returned to Bihar, and there is mismanagement, he claimed, claiming that everyone, including investors, is dissatisfied with the state of affairs there.

Prasad said the Janata Dal (United) leader should now drop his “pretension” of being “sushasan babu” and set his house in order.

He continued, “Even though he is being attacked himself, he is helpless.

“What happened to you, Nitish Kumar ji, in the company of your new friends?” the Patna Sahib MP asked, referring to the Janata Dal (United) leader who recently broke with the BJP and joined the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD).

Prasad asked how long the state government would last and claimed that the RJD’s foundation is built on “mafia, corrupt people, and corruption.”

Taking a jab, he said Kumar would get very angry and express it by skipping important national capital programs when he had a disagreement with the BJP when the two parties were allies.

Prasad continued, “He cannot dare to do anything now.”
