New Delhi, 5th Jan. The new excise policy has come into force in Delhi. According to the new excise policy of the Delhi government, 849 new liquor shops are being opened in Delhi. Three new liquor shops will open in every ward. Under the new policy, the age of drinkers in the capital has been reduced from 25 to 21.

The Aam Aadmi Party is being attacked by all the opposition parties regarding this matter. On one hand the BJP blocked the road in protest, on the other hand, renowned poet and former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas also attacked the Kejriwal government by tweeting. Now in response to Kumar Vishwas’s tweet, an AAP MLA called him a liar. However, Kumar Vishwas did not back down from answering the AAP MLA back.

Former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas took a jibe at the Delhi government’s excise policy and tweeted, “Delhi liquor mafia came to me in 2016 along with the liquor hoarder MLA with a recommendation to implement the policy of raising the age of drinkers from 21 to 18 and opening 1000 new contracts. I scolded and drove them away and also warned both the leaders. Now the brother-in-law of the younger man has set the case in a deal worth 500 crores.

In response to this tweet of Kumar Vishwas, AAP MLA Naresh Balyan expressed his displeasure. He termed Kumar Vishwas a liar and tweeted, “You seem to have consumed something wrong this morning. By 2021, the drinking age in Delhi was 25 years. After the new policy, it’s 21 years now. The second fact is that not a single liquor contract of liquor has increased. Four have gone down.”

Taking a jibe at Kumar Vishwas, the AAP MLA further wrote, “The rest we know that the pain of Rajya Sabha will last a lifetime. Keep spreading lies like this.”

Kumar Vishwas fiercely replied back to this tweet of AAP MLA. While replying to the AAP MLA, Vishwas in a tweet said, “The thief who is silent, he gets less thrashing, what was the need to reveal the name of the father? He further said, I had just written “Drunk hoarder MLA,” what was the need to show that you had come, boy?
