Former Mayor Preety Agarwal Urges Delhi Commissioner for Immediate Action Over Student Drowning Incident

New Delhi, 29th July. Former Mayor Preeti Agarwal has expressed deep concern over the recent drowning deaths of students in Delhi and has written to the Delhi Commissioner, calling for immediate action.

In her letter, Agarwal urged the Commissioner to investigate all activities conducted in basements and enforce strict measures against those found violating regulations. She emphasized the need for implementing safety standards in public places to prevent such tragedies.

Agarwal also requested the inspection of licenses for gyms and fitness centers to ensure compliance with safety standards.

“It is crucial that we uphold safety measures to avoid such unfortunate incidents,” she stated.

Agarwal hopes the Commissioner will address this matter promptly and take the necessary steps to ensure the safety and well-being of Delhi’s residents.
