Free Power And Taking Back Land From China Are Two Of Arvind Kejriwal’s 10 Promises

New Delhi, 12th May. Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, raised the poll pitch for the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) by announcing his “10 guarantees” in the event that the Opposition INDIA alliance wins a majority in these Lok Sabha elections.

The AAP national convenor stated, “Today we are going to announce 10 guarantees of Kejriwal for’ the #LokSabhaElections2024,” during a news conference on Sunday in Delhi. There are still other election phases to come, but this was postponed because of my arrest.”

He expressed his hope that no one would object to these assurances, but he stated that he has not yet addressed them with other INDIA bloc allies.

“I take this guarantee that after the INDIA alliance comes to power, I will make sure that these guarantees are implemented.”

Among the ten promises are initiatives like giving Delhi statehood, free education, land reclamation from China, and nationwide electricity.

“We will supply power to the nation around-the-clock. Although the nation can produce 3 lakh MW of electricity, only 2 lakh MW are actually used. More electricity can be produced in our nation than is needed. We’ve done it in Punjab and Delhi, and we’ll continue to do it across the nation. We will give all the impoverished people up to 200 units of free power. We can make it happen, but it will cost Rs 1.25 lakh crore,” he remarked.

“Everyone will receive excellent, free education thanks to our arrangements. A superior education will be given by government schools than by private ones. For this, Rs 5 lakh crores will be needed. The central government would provide Rs 2.5 crore for this, while state governments will contribute Rs 2.5 lakh crores,” the AAP chief continued.
