FSL Report confirms bullet fired from Ashish Mishra’s gun in Lakhimpur Kheri violence

Lakhimpur Kheri, 9th Nov. The Forensic Science Laboratory has confirmed that the bullets were fired from the licensed guns of accused Ankit Das and Ashish Mishra during the Lakhimpur Kheri violence on October 3.

The licensed arms of Ashish Mishra and Ankit Das were confiscated by the Lakhimpur Police. All the weapons were sent for forensic examination on October 15, whose report came on Tuesday.

The farmers alleged that Ashish and Ankit had fired several rounds during the violence. Although both the accused denied it.

Eight people were killed in the violence on October 3 in protest against the Lakhimpur Kheri Yatra of Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya. Union Minister Ajay Mishra Teni’s son Ashish Mishra is also among the 13 people arrested in connection with the death of farmers.
